Chrysler planning huge promotion

I can't think of a single chrysler car that would appeal to me

that said, if there were one, I'd consider buying it with that many discounts; christ.

That sounds like it will do a great job of clearing out '08 inventory and will also do a great job of destroying sales on '09 models. Anyone that was going to buy an '09 will buy an '08 instead.

Talk about liquidation sale. Say goodbye to resale value for any used Chrysler cars. Not Chrysler cars had any resale value to begin with. Viper excluded of course.

If their cars didnt look ugly as sin and get terrible gas mileage this might be a good deal.

Pretty much this.

My M3 is in the shop (someone backed into it while it was parked), so I'm tooling around in my Dodge Charger rental, and it has a very cheap feel to it. Not terribly impressed...

There is a reason why they don;t do leases anymore. 😉

charger/challenger/300 SRT8's and their RT versions are basically it for me.

i'd still rather take a pontiac G8 though.. god, that thing is totally my dream car.

Well, the other 2 will have to make new offers to compete, so this should help you out with a Ford or GM vehicle as well.

Plus, it would include Jeeps, and I happen to like Jeeps. 😀

Resale value is interesting cause I got an email regarding my Jeep lease saying they might cut down the price to buy out the car by a significant amount. heh

After owning a complete pile of shit dodge that has given me more problems in the past year than I could ever imagine possible, I will NOT buy american again.

Crappy build parts, and the worst part is they don't admit their engines have sludge issues. Chrysler can die for all I care

My Dodge car is perfect. I guess I just know how to do basic maintenance and not beat on a car.

Yeah well so do I.. maintained it perfectly for years and all it's done is blow apart by itself.. I'm sure my whole A/C unit blowing out, rod/main bearings being worn, thermostat, transmission control module, and a blower resistor all in the past year is not from me not taking care of my car.

Enough to make me never by american again.

I haven't done maintenance on my Dodge cargo van at all other than regular 3k oil changes, tires, and battery. No 30k, 60k, 90, 120k, 150k services. No fluid changes. I abuse this vehicle like no other. Yet it keeps going. It's 9 years now, and I wonder when it will die.

Speaking of sludge issues, has Toyota ever admitted to the terrible sludge issue with their earlier Tundras?

"Up to"?

Is this like when a store has "up to" 70% off clothing, and when you get to the store the only thing that is 70% off is a soiled package of irregular underwear?
