Uhhh.... EVERY car company is like this. Obviously you have no experience with this? I drive by GM, DCX, and VW offices all the time, and they are all like that.

Toyota, Honda, Nissan, and Hyundai aren't like that.

Do you have any proof? I can drive by VW tomorrow and take pics to prove, can you?

I'll drop by the Toyota/Lexus plant sometime and take pics for you.

I can take pictures of DCX parking lots full of competitor vehicles as well, that doesn't mean that other lots are designated as DCX-only.

If you started at the company and already had a newer car, I can see not driving a Chrysler. But if you already work there, and are buying a brand new car, it makes sense to buy what your company makes. No sense giving money to your competitors.

AGREED.

You may be semi- retarded.🙁

If you were working at Burger King,and you brought McD's food to lunch;
do you think the boss would be happy?

In the 1970s and early '80s, when Chrysler was experiencing layoffs, Koors said his father, also a Chrysler employee, would describe foreign-made vehicles that were flipped upside down if parked in the company's parking lot.

"It's not about American made or union made, it's about our company," he said. "Drive what you build if you want your company to survive."

If you were on a diet and worked at McDonalds should you be fired because you don't eat their crappy food for lunch?

If I don't want to drive a crappy car that breaks down all the time I should have that right. Like 3 or 4 thousand employees buying a different brand car is going to have ANY impact on Chrysler's bottom line. Morons they are!!! MORONS!!!

Sure it could, some car models only sell 3-4 thousand copies per year. Toyota makes and has made a few. Chrysler and GM have several car models that only exist because they sell several thousand a year.

2. Sounds smart

1. It's never smart to buy a Chrysler.

2. It's never smart to buy a Dodge.

no way Dodge turned into a really good brand in the last 8 or so years...
thier trucks kick ass lately... so does the magnum and of course the Viper...

id love an SRT10 Truck.. best of both worlds... pickup truck and viper rolled into 1 =P

Some models only sell some thousands cars a year. Volkswagen had a target of 5 000 Phaetons for the year 2004 (or 2003, I don't know for sure). However, those kind of 3-4000 cars are there just like the Intel Extreme Edition processors are - a flagship that almost nobody will buy but everyone will dream about

No it couldn't. You honestly think everyone in the factory is going to buy the same freaking car? What model only sells 3-4 thousand copies per year? Those cars are going to be loss leaders and probably phased out anyway. Selling them to employees, probably at a loss, isn't going to help your bottom line.

What you are saying almost percectly coinsides with the merger between Chrysler and Mercedes. Quality has really gone up a whole lot since 8 years ago. If you have not seen some of the latest models; The Chrysler Pacifica has many features of an E-Class Mercedes, they are very nice and have a similar ride to one as well.

Tell that to my co-worker who just bought a low mileage '02 Chrysler 300M. His car is a pile of crap and he's had multiple problems in the few months he's owned it.

Those are a legacy design left over from the communist Chrysler era. They did not go and redesign them, instead just went ahead and cancelled the car; in order to just simply move on.

You mean the same car that gets an 8.8/10 user review (higher than a 2002 Maxima) and no major flaws (the Maxima has two significant engine problems, MAF and CPS), according to Carpoint?

I'd take a Maxima over the Chrysler any day...in fact I did. We own an '03 Maxima and haven't had any real problems with it (rear brakes seem to wear out earlier than I would expect and we had a CV boot replaced under warranty, that's it though).
