I really dug Riddick's character in Pitch Black... he turned that movie from a cheesy Sci-Fi movie into one with character and depth. He was a hardcore murderer. Now, he's BACK! and he's a hero in a movie geared towards the kiddies? whatever. I'm seriously dissapointed.

I'll still probably see it, but I'm not into it as much as I thought I would be.

MTV showed the first 10 minutes at 11pm last night. I only caught a bit of it, watching it between commercials in the NBA finals, but from what I saw, it looked terrible. Battle Field Earth terrible.

yeah PG-13, they just made it to make money, i know thats y u make films and stuff, but that one seems like it was just for themoney, they didnt; care about anything else.

Never saw Battlefield Earth because of all the hate people gave it... I guess the video game for xbox is supposed to be good though Maybe I'll get that instead of watching this.

There are very few movies that I would call "Battlefield Earth" terrible. I reserve that classification for truely crap films.

LOL, is it even worth watching for the sheer 'this is terrible' factor? (like Plan 9 From outer space?)

You're right; perhaps I shouldn't say Battlefield Earth terrible without seeing the entire travesty...as hopefully nothing can be that bad..
