Chronicles of Riddick Problems - Framerate

Whenever I play chronicles of Riddick in PS 2.0 mode, it almost never goes above 20 FPS. Activating 2.0++ kills it. I am using a 7950GX2 with e6600 and 91.47 drivers. Should I be getting this kind of performance, what's wrong? My 3dMarks 06 are fine at about 8200. And, I'm running drivers at High Quality settings. Is 2.0++ too much, even for the GX2? :'(

depends on resolution

i run 2.0 fairly well at 1280x960 (or 1024 im not sure)
the textures i think are not full however

i can check to make sure,

i get playable framerates ~30

Nah, there is something wrong. When I play Riddick on my X1900GT ( and you have twice that card ) I play at 1280/1024 with everything maxed and PS2.0 and average 45-50 fps.

The OP was talking about PS2.0+, which is an additional shader mode only supported on SM3 Nvidia cards. That feature has always had a huge performance hit, so it's normal.

It could be an SLI conflict - try changing the SLI settings for Riddick including trying single card mode.
