2d.

I didn't like the first movie, and I was cringing so much through the opening of Prince Caspian that I stopped watching it after 10 minutes. I'm a big a fan of the books, so I'm a bit critical of the movies.

The spiritual truth of the dragon and having to let Aslan fix it because a dragon can't cut himself deep enough... well that's my favorite part of any of the Narnia books.

So I'm deeply afraid that they might turn this book into something it simply isn't... good fodder for a movie :)

I liked the first movie well enough, the second...not so much.

Are the books worth getting into for someone who's in their 20's?

I saw the trailer for it in 3D when I saw Avatar, it looked pretty good, I would go with 3D

Yes. Lion, Witch, Wardrobe is kind of painful because it's ultra-simplistic...but they progress in depth and series undertones. By the last book, it's awesome.
CS Lewis is a genius. I love his writing style. He can fit so much depth in the simplest of sentences.

Yes.

The books are timeless and deep. You can enjoy them as a child, but the more you grow, the more you uncover further levels and richness in the stories of the series. Even more so if you understand the Christian themes and allegory - C.S. Lewis did an incredible job writing the series.

I'm 24 and have been re-reading the series again and again since I was 8. Still a great read after dozens of times.
