Chrome viewing issue

When I visit my favorite forums and look through the various sub forums I may have to page down a little to select the topic or sub forum I want to look at but when I'm finished and either hit the backspace or click on the left arrow in the browser Chrome does not always bring me back to where I was and instead bring me to the top of the page I was on before. This is a pain because it requires me to page back down to where I was. Say, for example, I'm at AVSFORUM and have paged down to look at the "Speakers" sub-forum and then when I'm done looking at the Speakers sub-forum and hit the backspace or left arrow I would like to be brought back to the previous page AT the spot I was at before instead of at the top of the page.

Anyone know what the deal with Chrome is because neither IE not Firefox has this problem as both bring you back to where you were and not to the top.

Use firefox. Enough said.

Just doing what everyone else is trying to. When people complain about firefox they always say use a different browser like chrome. I have plenty of thread examples to prove this.

I have used Firefox, IE, Safaris and Chrome and find pluses and minuses with all of them. I don't like the way Firefox handles bookmarks. So, if there is a fix for the Chrome issue I mentioned I'd like to try it because otherwise I like Chrome.

I have already sent a trouble report to Google about the Chrome viewing problem but have not heard from them -- black hole....
