Chrome video streaming audio always lagging

Whenever I try to stream video with audio on Chrome it always starts out fine and then eventually seems to start lagging more and more behind the visuals. This happens both when streaming Netflix or when streaming sports, which I believe uses flash. I've tried clearing my cache. Only extensions I have is ublock origin. Any ideas?

Are you using the most current version of chrome? I've never seen that behavior from it. You also might check to see if you have latest version of flash player which will also affect videos. You might even consider uninstalling it, removing its primary and associated directories and then reinstalling it.

If the content is Skype based, there's a known problem with audio + video being out of sync.
Example: twitlive.tv (video podcasts) often has Skype-in guests on monitors adjacent to a live studio moderator.
The lip sync of the live person is fine, but the Skype-in guests are out of sync.
Does the same problem occur with one of the other browsers?
