Chrome Help?

I hate the thread preview text when I mouse over a thread title or whatever. Is there any way to turn this off? Thanks.

Its not an issue with Chrome. Its something on the web page itself that Vbulletin supports.
I suppose if you completely disabled all flash and java then they might go away, but thats just silly.

True it's a feature of vBulletin but it is a bit of an issue with Chrome because it displays these tooltips a lot sooner than it does in other browsers. There's next to no popup delay on Chrome whereas in Firefox, for example, there's about a 1 second delay.

It does pop up way too quickly IMO.

It's not Flash or Java or even Javascript, just plain old HTML. Dozens of us have requested that the "feature" be either user selectable or applied only to the text and not the entire table row in the forum thread view, but unsurprisingly the administrators are not receptive to our requests.

To the OP, it's possible that removing this HTML element would be very simple with a Chrome extension (now officially supported) so I'll look into it.
