I don't know if it's because of a Chrome update but ever since a month or so ago it stopped showing me options whenever I fill in a text box. I don't mean autofill where it completes the whole form with name, address, phone when you select your name, but on sites where it allows you to search it saves your previous entries so you're only typing in the first letter or so and it gives you what you entered before. It's no longer showing anything at all and I can't seem to find where you ask it to save them.

Go to settings, advances settings, check the box for "Enable Autofill to fill out web forms in a single click.

If that doesn't work, you could always go to the bottom and select "reset browser settings."

autofill has always been checked and I've discovered some websites still do it for me, but this one particular torrent site's search box used to do it but not anymore. The site hasn't visually changed at all - could it be website-specific allowing/disallowing it? Doesn't make sense they'd bother touching that.

The site may have changed their code to not allow autocomplete. In Firefox, there are extensions to force websites to autocomplete, but I don't know about Chrome.
