Chrome bookmarks

Anyone know how to extract bookmarks from user profiles without running the export command in chrome ?

Only reason I ask is if the hdd fails and I still have access to the doc & users or users folder I can hopefully pull it out.

I tried transfering the appdata\local\google\chrome\user data folder, and it was good that it gave me the saved user passwords in sites but not the bookmark.. any ideas ?

Why don't you just sync it up by signing into google chrome? By signing in, it syncs between my PC phone and all machines.

Yeah, all your bookmarks are in Google docs (I think) if you sync.

say your pc crash, you can't get it boot up to sync it, how would you recover it.

Never mind, i figured it out, its the 2 bookmark files in the userdata\default.

You get the system fixed, or get a new system. Then you install chrome, and sync it with your account. Done.

All of your bookmarks and extensions are synced. It works very well.

Your system is more 1990s style.
