Question Chrome and Firefox tabs kept crashing

Don't know why. This is a Minis Forum Z83-F with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.

It's been on the shelf for a while and took it out to make sure it runs.

Updated to Windows 10 22H2. Chrome got ad-blocking Ghostery extension but Firefox does not have any plugins.

Thoughts?

Then put Linux on it to use less resources. Chrome and Firefox are ram hogs if you have tabs open. I used to have a baseline of 16gb per system and that wasn't enough after awhile until they fixed the issue last year. I since bumped to 32gb just to or have to deal with it. Swap files in Windows are kind of useless and put extra wear on drives without much benefit. I disable paging on windows by default because of it. Windows alone will eat up 4gb just booting.

Yeah, I would install as Ubuntu and then strip out the desktop and use xfce instead. There's a bit of bloat with the default desktop.
