Chrome address bar unselecting?

Anyone else getting it where you click the chrome address bar so the whole URL is highlighted, go to type in and then have chrome decide having the URL selected was no good so you end up typing on the end of the existing url?

Does not do it in edge so I doubt it's the OS or keyboard.
