Christmas tree lights mod???

Has anyone seen or done a case mod using Christmas tree lights? I've been bouncing the idea around in my head for a couple of days. Maybe use a string of "chaser" lights? Around the Holidays you could always trade the lights out for some more festive red/green lights

Sounds like a good idea. Do they make any for cars that run off of 12volt? I think it would look cool.

I found almost 200 sites using Yahoo. I read a few and it looks like most are for RV's and the like. You can find them but they aren't cheap! Now it comes down to finding them for sale somewhere cheap and developing some type of mounting scheme inside/outside the case.

Might be worth looking in a camping supply or at a camping trailer dealership for the lights since they are sold for RVs. I have done a few mods to my case and already have a light for my computer. You could probably mount the christmas lights by drilling a row of holes around either 3 or 4 sides of the side panel, just big enough for the light bulbs to fit through. After placing them in the holes either tape them or glue them in place with a low temp. glue gun or use silicone.

The thing on the bottom is a POS antec cooler that was given to me. I think it kinda looks neat but that is it, and I will probably be removing it soon. Yeah, I agree too many wires, I am going to try to get them all organized.

Techfuzz, if you do the christmas lights please post a picture of them on your case so we can see them. I think that they are one of the more orginal ideas that I have heard of and it sounds like it would be really neat.
