Christmas sucks this year

edit: this year has just sucked, i can;t stand going up to my parents and I am soo bored at home, so it just makes for a unhappy dogg hehe

GF is with her family, not very interested in seeing my family, roommates are gone, and I don't even feel like wrapping the presents I bought.

Felt fine yesterday, today I just don't care.
 
Well, I was taking a new bunkbed upstairs so I could put it together in the kid's room, only to find out that there's absolutely NO way to get the bottom bedframe up the stairs without taking some of the stairs out. So instead of spending one hour on it and then going over to a friend's house for the evening celebration, I had to call a crew together to get the stairs taken out, move the frame up from the basement through the hole we've created, and then put the stairs back together, then finally put the bed together.
I'm beat.

I think I would have changed my mind, and bought the kids hammocks.
 
Also.. tomorrow I'm going up to visit my brothers girlfriends family.. WOOHOOO loads of fun.


We leave at noon, it's 3 hours away.
We are coming back tomorrow after dinner.
Now thats what I call a fun Christmas

Then don't go. I would sooner play in traffic than spend the day with my brothers girlfriend, much less her family.
 
I am at home with my honey and my son, the bills are paid, our bellies filled with holiday ham, a few gifts for everybody,including a very elegant silky pair of pj's for me 🙂

It's a good Xmas here🙂
 
my first Christmas alone. I won't get to see my kids open their gifts in the morning, going over to see them in the afternoon.
 
Here's another sucky Christmas: my furnace is broken, and everyone here is freezing to death. The technician can come tomorrow for $120 just for the trip here + $40 PER 15 minutes. Yay for a lovely Christmas!!! Grrr....
