Christmas present for the boss?

Last year, my boss got me a $25 gift certificate to Barnes and Noble as well as a card. I, in turn, was caught totally offguard and had nothing. I'd like to get him something this year, but I really don't know what to get him. He's a family man and at least twenty years older than me (mid 40's). I was thinking GC's to a couple of the lunch places in the area around our office or a big fat gift certificate to a coffee shop or something.

What do you guys think? I was hoping not to spend more than $25 or so.

If he likes coffee, a bag of gourmet coffee would be much better than a GC to a local coffee shop.
