I was thinking about paying to have her ears pierced and buying her a pretty pair of earrings.
The problem is she is 1 year and 2 months old. Is that a good time to have her ears pierced?
She is kinda of curious and like to pick up small things and put them in her mouth. I'm afraid she might swallow one or play with them until the point of infection.

 
her parents are alright with the piercing idea? hmm. even if, i'd probably just buy her some kids books or something traditional.

They don't mind. Her father has more piercings than you can shake a stick at.
 
my niece had her ears pierced before she was one. she cried for a little bit and was fine after that and probably doesnt even realize that she has earings on. 🙂

i would ask her parents first. if they dont like the idea, get toys

She has everything. Tons of toys. Tons of books. Tons of clothes. My mother has spoiled her rotten. She has more toys right now than I had in the whole of my life, and she is just a little over 1.
