christmas light synchronization

still pretty cool, but it's not as synched as well as the original one, where you could tell each portion of lights represented a certain range of an instrument. This one seems more random.

yeah

For what Blackberry Enterprise Server costs, I'd expect it to synchronize all the lights over at the yacht club too! hehehehe

yep, its good, but the original was better, but then again i think the original song was easier to sync to

Sweet! I'm seeing them on the 23rd... Gf bought the tickets so I dont know what row, but I dont care, I just caint wait!!!

Actually, the "original" is far from the original synched light show... But, it certainly is the most widely distributed video of a show.

The software they use is incredibly simple to operate; I'm surprised the synchronization is off (or, perhaps, the problem exists in the software used to compress the video - I've seen that happen quite a few times.) Light show coming to my house... soon.

There are some electronic controllers and software to run it all. IIRC, an 8 channel controller was around $150. The software was around $100. Sorry I can't remember the company; it's in a thread from last year (if you really want to search for it.) I marked this thread, hoping I'd remember the name of the company. Oh well.
