Haven't started my shopping yet. Hate it like the plague. I'd rather hit my thumb with a hammer repeatedly than go into a damn mall. However, if I must, I must. Of course, my first choice is online, so I'm open to suggestions.
For Mrs. Carbo I'm thinking of something high tech, although both she and I are highly ignorant about these things. She travels often, and I was thinking about one of those cell phone/PC/email/Blackberry/Blueberry/Treo gizmos. But I don't know diddly about it. And to make matters worse, I recently read that some judge has ruled against Blackberry and they may be shut down. So, I'm stumped. But she could use easy access to a PC in her travels, especially email. And she is flat out opposed to a laptop. Overkill for her needs.
My little one is 8 years old. I'm thinking a small starter aquarium. She has mentioned she would like that, and I was into the hobby as a kid myself. Can you recommend a good online retailer for some kind of complete package, say a 15 gallon setup. Maybe a good book for kids, too.
