I just wanted to see the correlation between those who celebrate Christmas and those who are actually Christian. Just curious, I find it kind of fascinating. Discuss.

I agree with both of you. I was baptized Catholic but I'm not a practicing Catholic. Yet I still celebrate Christmas.

Catholicism is a faith. If you aren't following the religion, then you're not part of it. People who say they're born catholic and other types of of similar bullshit are full of exactly that.

...anyway, Merry Christmas :D

When did I say I was a part of it? I wasn't born Catholic, I was baptized. It ended more or less after that.

I guess we both assumed. I can agree with me being an ass. I'm not full of bullsh** though, well after a large steak perhaps.

I wasn't assuming anything about you. My rant had NOTHING to do with you other than your saying the word "catholic" invoked my rant.

Christmas is a Federal holiday celebrated by people all over the world. It has it's base as being a Christian holiday but it's still celebrated by people of all religions (orl ack there of).
