Christian Science for Kids - is this real?

So, you make a rather vague title and post a link to a hoax website. What is the point of this thread?

Rocks Can't Evolve, Where Did They Come From Mr. Darwin?

LMAO! 😀

2nd Place: "Women Were Designed For Homemaking"
Jonathan Goode (grade 7) applied findings from many fields of science to support his conclusion that God designed women for homemaking: physics shows that women have a lower center of gravity than men, making them more suited to carrying groceries and laundry baskets; biology shows that women were designed to carry un-born babies in their wombs and to feed born babies milk, making them the natural choice for child rearing; social sciences show that the wages for women workers are lower than for normal workers, meaning that they are unable to work as well and thus earn equal pay; and exegetics shows that God created Eve as a companion for Adam, not as a co-worker.

OMFG ROFL!!! 😀 😀 😀

Just read "Women Are Designed For Housemaking". There's no way that it's real.

EDIT: IIRC, this is also the website that sold Christian thongs.

I considered the fact this was a parody website, but try surfing through the website on your own.. I can't believe someone put in that much trouble to put up legitimate links and other sundries to make it a parody website...

Obviously the religious mind does not evolve either.

When I was in highschool Bio 2, my teacher came out on the first day of school and said something like this

"This class will be taught bases on the scientifically accepted theories of Darwin. Anyone who has a problem with that is encouraged to identify themselves now by raising their hand so I can save myself some effort with my grading and fail them now."

Why isnt the rest of the world that simple?

These are descriptions of some of the videos available for purchase

"Project Dinosaur"
Drama: "Mikey discovers a dinosaur bone while working on his science fair project. Realizing that evolution doesn't agree with his Christian beliefs, he resolves to evaluate the theory himself. He must decide what he believes and then have the courage to defend it, even if it means losing the science fair and the respect of his classmates." An inspirational film that will provide powerful lessons for budding Creation Scientists trapped in Secular institutions. (Available on VHS and DVD. From Bob Jones University.)
"Test Of Faith"
Drama: "Taylor Mitchell desperately needs his scholarship to stay in school. Physics Professor, Dr. Heinlein, insists that Taylor abandon his 'mythological religious approach' to creation and base his thinking on 'fact and the scientific method.' Taylor's final grade will depend on his fulfillment of Dr. Heinlein's assignment -- a scientifically sound paper on evolution. Is this truly a Test of Faith or an 'assignment on reality?'" Excellent dramatization of the issues that older students will face when they come in contact with Secularized colleges. Prepare them now.
"Raising The Allosaur"
Documentary: "A group of home school kids traveling to the badlands of Colorado with their parents in search of adventure end up making the biggest dinosaur discovery of the year. They excavate three amazing creatures: a many-plated Stegosaur, a 120-foot Brachiosaur, and the most complete Allosaur ever found in the history of paleontology. But there's more: The excavators find remarkable proof for a 'recent' death of the Allosaur, pointing to the fact that the creature is not millions, but thousands of years old!" This adventure-filled true story will show Creation Science Fair participants that, with just a little spunk and a trowel, even they can overturn decades of Evolutionistic dogma. (Available on VHS and DVD. Trailer available for online viewing.)

Wow...just wow.

Take for example Apple Computers, makers of the popular Macintosh line of computers. The real operating system hiding under the newest version of the Macintosh operating system (MacOS X) is called... Darwin! That's right, new Macs are based on Darwinism! While they currently don't advertise this fact to consumers, it is well known among the computer elite, who are mostly Atheists and Pagans. Furthermore, the Darwin OS is released under an "Open Source" license, which is just another name for Communism. They try to hide all of this under a facade of shiny, "lickable" buttons, but the truth has finally come out: Apple Computers promote Godless Darwinism and Communism.

But is this really such a shock? Lets look for a moment at Apple Computers. Founded by long haired hippies, this company has consistently supported 60's counter-cultural "values"2. But there are even darker undertones to this company than most are aware of. Consider the name of the company and its logo: an apple with a bite taken out of it. This is clearly a reference to the Fall, when Adam and Eve were tempted with an apple3 by the serpent. It is now Apple Computers offering us temptation, thereby aligning themselves with the forces of darkness4.

This company is well known for its cult-like following. It isn't much of a stretch to say that it is a cult. Consider co-founder and leader Steve Jobs' constant exhortation through advertising (i.e. mind control) that its followers should "think different". We have to ask ourselves: "think different than whom or what?" The disturbing answer is that they want us to think different than our Christian upbringing, to reject all the values that we have been taught and to heed not the message of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Given the now obvious anti-Christian and cultish nature of Apple Computers, is it any wonder that they have decided to base their newest operating system on Darwinism? This just reaffirms the position that Darwinism is an inherently anti-Christian philosophy spread through propaganda and subliminal trickery, not a science as its brainwashed followers would have us believe.

whee!

Were you in the south, bible belt, at the time? My anatomy and physiology professor said on the first day "men and women have the same number of ribs. If you disagree with that or anything else because of some religious source, then drop the class now as you will fail".

This maybe the only project that i might agree with.

Easiest way to tell if it's a parody site or not is to check the shop. I remember the first time I found www.landoverbaptist.org it took me a while to realize it was a parody because the articles were JUST believeable enough. Most extremist parody sites have stuff like the above mentioned Jesus thongs and whatnot... the stuff in this shop seems 100% by-and-for born again Christians. But I have one question.... WTF is the baby jesus blue-eyed and blonde-haired (check the t-shirts in the shop)? Maybe they're going for a baby-jesus that the OC Generation can identify with. 😛 Still... some freakin hilarious sh1t on there... sometimes the truth is more amusing than the jokes.
