Christian Bale actor opinions?

What do you all think of Christian Bale's acting career so far?

i can only think of two other movies with him in it -- american psycho, and little women. Niether of which were particularly stunning movies in my opinion.

we'll see how he does as batman, then i'll make up my mind on him.

I'll tell you after I see the new Batman flick. The 1989 Batman is my favorite movie of all time (Yes, really), so if he fvcks it up, I will hate him forever.

I thought he was fabulous in American Psycho..which I also enjoyed watching immensely. That was the first time I noticed him as an actor. I'm hoping the actor is dynamic enough to play the Batman role properly...I really hope it turns out well since I want to see this new batman movie. Also, has anyone seen that movie "The Machinist?" Apparently he lost 60lbs for that role! :Q

he did ok in american psycho..but that movie just kinda sucked.

if you wanna see him as a badass...check out equilibrium...almost perfect movie 😀

I didn't like American Psycho, but thought he was very good in it.

Can't really judge his acting ability on Equilibrium. I liked the movie alot, but many people could have played his role just as well.

The Machinist was quite an interesting movie though. It was crazy how skinny he had to get to be in that, then bulk right back up to play Batman.

Of course, there was always Swing Kids too!

Yeah, he isn't exactly a household name. The upcoming Batman flick has the capability of making or breaking his career.
