I once worked at a Home that housed mental retarded adults, and one year we took a group out to the Air Show and Circus around the 4th of July. At the Circus, Tiny Tim was one of the performers - and he did his musical act for the crowd, then they had a break and we took some of the Residents down to meet Tim.

He was a nice man, even when one of the Residents asked him for a dollar, he didn't bat an eye - he just gave her a dollar....
