Hey everyone, I have a mini light string and the string still stays lit when a bulb is pulled out?....Is this a bad thing?

When you get your shit on the clearance aisle at Home Depot during the after Christmas clearance, it's the 2014's. Though I'm sure there are several strings from the 2000s in the box as well.

Must be cheaper for the Chinese to run them in series.

I remember, as a kid, going through a whole string to find the bad one and the test bulb I was using turned out to be bad too.
