Chris Christie has become the most quotable New Jerseyan since Yogi Berra, and now the two former catchers have even more in common, because, like Yogi, the governor has us scratching our heads.

Wednesday, when Christie got into a heckler’s face at a California rally for Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman, he told the man: “You want to yell, yell at me. It’s people who yell and scream like you who are dividing this country. We’re here to bring this country together.”

Huh? Chris Christie, the Uniter? The bully who loves to demonize anyone who disagrees with him? The guy who says Democrats actually want to raise our taxes? The governor who treats teachers like piñatas?

Look, we’ve agreed with a lot of what Christie has done to try to fix the state, and sometimes we’ve applauded his well-timed crankiness. But nobody is holding hands and singing “Kumbaya” in the Statehouse. And nationally, Republicans have been hammering wedges into the electorate since President Obama’s election.

So, as Yogi would say: “Some of the fibs the governor tells aren’t true.”
Man, where was this guy during the August 2009 townhall meetings.

The guy was a self-made multi-millionare, who wanted to ask Whitman a question and Christie got in his face. The guy Ed Buck, never got out of his seat until Christie tried to bully him.

In other news, a old white MALE teabagger punched a WOMAN Reid supporter in Las Vegas last night!

An idiot defending an idiot, color me surprised. To dislike one is to dislike em both.

But point granted, some idiots like Meg Whitman and Cristie. And yes, both are good for quotes not to be proud of. But ya, if an east coast and and a west coast idiot join forces, they have rational people surrounded.

California is in deep doo doo and may require a real politician to get them out, somebody who won't need half a lifetime to get up to speed and somebody who didn't get a wild hair up her ass to become famous by buying a political seat. That turd wouldn't win dog catcher if it weren't for her money. Who the fuck whats to elect money as a governor. Assholes, that's right.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. You have to understand the mentality of wealth worship. If I suck up to the uber-wealthy, that wealth is sure to rub off. If I vote for the rich candidate, I'll become rich as well. Ask any of the corporatist posters here. Support the rich with your heart, soul, and votes and someday you'll be rich!

Well, what else does she have to run on?
Single-handedly turning eBay's golden goose in to a giant steaming pile of shait?
Being ultra conservative in a state that is about as opposite of that as could be (for better or worse)?

If she had been a moderate and not come right out of the gate attempting to appease her base, and had limited the negative campaigning she might of stood a chance.

As of now she has turned off most of the independents who might of voted for her, myself included.
