I went in today to have a hearing on the report. The reporting officer's supervisor told me that my supplemental/rebuttal had some good points and that usually a left turn across incoming traffic is considered an collision-causing violation. We did argued over the details for almost an hour, but he basically said they can't really change anything because it makes them look bad.

If this wasn't happening to me, this situation would almost be hilarious. I should have brought a tape recorder.
