Chopsticks...

I've had the hardest time using them but recently I've gotten the hang of em and it's all I use anytime I get the chance.

Actually, once you get used to eating with chopsticks, you'll find that some foods are easier and neater to eat with chopsticks than with a fork and knife.

Whatever makes folks happy.

Bon appetit,

Someone needs to alert the Asians of the world that the knife and fork and spoon have been invented.

being Asian, i'm very adept with chopsticks.

although, i'm not sure if i can catch a fly, Mr. Myiagi 🙂

eh, its probably hard to learn for some. beginners hands are stiff and tense, amount of force directed to tips is rather pathetic, so they write it off. thats bad technique. like riding a bike, once u learn, u don't even think that ur balancing on just two thin wheels. but for a beginner, its not kewl at all. i've been using chopsticks since i was a kid. you have to hold them correctly or else you have no leverage. i can without strain pickup a drumstick. the versitility beats forks and knives for a ll foods you can eat without cutting. its truely a hand extention, useful in cooking etc. but hard to learn for some. esp if your holding it all wrong.

I did catch a fly with chopsticks once. It was obviously after I saw Karate Kid. Anyways, I use chopsticks whenever I eat asian food. Adds to the flavor or something.

EDITED.

But that will make them fat. Since it'll be easier to eat more. 😛

EDIT: Plus someone needs to alert you that the fad these days is to avoid CARBOs. 😉

I insist on chopsticks, or "deu goit" as I know them, but for steak, fork and knife is a must unless of course the meat has been cut.

I'd love to see you "fly catchers" make a video of you doing so. I have great chopstick abilities, and don't think I could do it. 🙂

hahahaha...not all flies fly really fast. And its not like it can be done everytime, but just keep trying. For me it was just like in Karate Kid. I did it more than once, because my uncle thought I was lying. Plus, I was around 10 when the movie came out...dexterity was better then.

chopsticks are most useful for hair-containment.

I can put my hair up in any number of different ways given one or two chopsticks but please don't ask me to eat with them, I'd starve.
