Choppy Video problem

The support at the Bioware/Infogrames site is not very helpful, so I'm hoping that there are more technical minded people that can help me here. What happens is that when I play Neverwinter Nights, it starts fine, but after 10-15 minutes, the framerate goes down the toilet and becomes unplayable. I've already tried to turn off all the graphic options, but the result is still the same. My system meets or is above the recommended system listed on the box. I'm not sure where the bottleneck is, because people with higher end systems also suffers from the same problem.

My system is:
AMD Athlon 900 (T-Bird)
MSI6330 motherboard (Via KT133 chipset)
100mhz fsb
256mb PC133 RAM
Geforce2MX 32MB
SBLive Value

Update with the newest 4n1's from Via and then update your sound card drivers from Creative Labs and finally update your Detonator drivers for your video card from Nvidia

also, with a GeForce2 MX, you shouldn't be running at anything above 800x600, i would prollly stick to 640x480 to be happiest

Hess.
