Choppy video in full-screen.

Hey everyone.

Whenever I watch online video in full-screen mode, the video gets really choppy (GameSpot, YouTube, etc.). Actually, it's not every time I watch videos, there seems to be a point where the video no longer runs smoothly. I can't really pin-point the source of my problem. I'm thinking it might be my video card, a GeForce 9400 GT 512Mb at the moment. My 285 will arrive tomorrow (woohoo!! ). Does video output rely mostly on the video card? This is really bothering me considering I just dropped upward of $1,000 to build this computer, and it can't run full-screen video smoothly!? Has anyone else ran into this sort of problem? I need a solution badly! Maybe when I install my 285 tomorrow it'll be fixed.

Any help or ideas is greatly appreciated. ;]

I don't really care whether or not it gets removed, honestly. But it seems to be bothering other members of the forum...

However, I found the solution to my problem: UNINSTALLING GOOGLE CHROME

Yea, I was using Google Chrome, mainly because Google hypes it's multi-threading capability so much. Well, seeing as I have my shiny new quad-core rig... I thought I'd make Chrome my default browser. BAD IDEA! I installed Firefox and watched video after video after video and they all ran like butter... ;D

My PSA: DON'T USE CHROME! IT'S BAD FOR YOUR MENTAL HEALTH!
