I just installed WinXp on my IBM thinkpad 900Mhz 256 ram laptop. When I plug my USB mouse in it runs ok, but as I start openning windows and copying files it gets all jumpy. This does not happen when I have a regular ps/2 mouse plug in. I did notice in the task manger performance chart I'm getting 80-90% peaks a lot. I'm not sure if that is normal or not. I didnt have any problem with my usb mouse when I was running win98. I was wondering if there was some type of driver out there or something else.
