hello guys, so I've recently took under my 2nd build, successfully put together one earlier this year and I am currently in the process of building it.. but I screwed up on the power supply. I understand pretty much everything else, and I guess I lucked out last time by choosing the rigt power supply for my other build.. but this one is alittle different.

heres the parts that require the power supply, I've been looking through mstly newegg since I realized I got the wrong one and haven't been able to find one that will work with the parts I have.

heres whats relevant:

Antec 1200 Case.

GIGABYTE GA-EP45T-DS3R LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard

XFX PVT98WYDFH GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

2x Western Digital 3.0 SATA Harddrives

1 SATA CD/DVD Drive

everything seems to have sufficient SATA power cables, and I won't need anymore the whats listed. I'm having a hard time with finding the needs for the MOBO and GPU specifically. its going to be mostly a gaming computer, I won't do SLI later on though so whatever is enough power to power selected items will be fine.

let me know if I'm missing anything, and thanks in advance! in the meantime I'll keep looking..

Assuming that you mean you bought a PSU that did not have two 6-pin connectors for the video card, here are 122 power supplies to choose from. Most should be sufficient for your needs. There are additional PSUs to choose from if you search for 6+2 pins.

This OCZ 600W should be just the ticket at $50 shipped AR.

That OCZ is just another FSP Epsilon rebrand with that design's attendant problems (most notably ripple). Not a firstline recommendation with deals like this or this around.

I bought this one for $27.99 after $35 MIR on Black Friday. Reviews are decent and when I asked for advice on AT (http://forums.anandtech.com/me...2251096&enterthread=y), nothing bad came out. The overall tone of comments was positive and someone also posted a link to a review which was positive as well.

It seems the rebate is frequent and may be worth waiting for if you can do so. Otherwise, there may be better options for $50. BTW, this one does not have pci-e 6+2 pin connectors. People tell me that can be an issue for high end gaming cards.

Also, it seems that the 500W version has a decent rebate right now: http://forums.anandtech.com/me...=2240824&enterthread=y
