choosing the right motherboard.

Hi, i am looking for a new motherboard that will support S478(P4)

i already have Audigy 2 and a videocard. so i don't need it in the motherboard.

the board is mostly for games. like HL2 and Doom3

I heard so much about Asus and ABIT, is it any good. the one , abit be6, i am using is what i give a satisfy. not excellent.

I may need LAN and i have a 80GB harddrive right now, i may add another 80GB later. So do i need "raid" for it?

I can see a motherboard that can be up to $100 difference. actually what is the difference that i can get in that $100?

I am really not familiar with this field so.. i will ask some stupid ques.
