Choosing DSL Router (not wireless)

Just asking for a bit of advice here on a good router from a company that offers good support on things like opening ports, playing online, getting past the firewall, etc. I can build a computer, but with network stuff I am totally clueless and am having nothing but problems with the piece of s**t I have now (it's a Gigafast- the first one broke and now this one is nothing but a headache). I know, the problem most likely lays with me, but I would still like to get a router that is not only good but also benefits from customer support. There are a ton of used ones out there from people going wireless so if not an exact model, a brand would help (though a specific model would be better). Any help is much appreciated...

LOL good customer support for a $10 piece of plastic.

Do you realize that with the first support call that you make they lose the profit that they made selling the Router.:brokenheart:

In any case log to this site it has pictorial descriptions of most Routers? menus; choose the One that you like.

Quality wise there is no real differences between the brad names.
