Choosing Bootup Harddrive with Promise Ultra/100 controller

Hello All,

Am I missing something here or is there no way to choose a bootup harddrive with an Ultra/100 controller from Promise? I have both of my harddrives on this device, and in the bios when I choose SCSI Controller as my first bootup option, it wont let me choose WHICH of the harddrives on this card I want to use to bootup. I dont see an option to access the "bios" on the Ultra/100 controller card either. Any help is appreciated.

 
Don't all of the drives have a a drive letter so you can choose that drive letter in the bios? Can the BIOS detect a bootable hard drive?
 
I have the Asus K7V. It does not allow to me choose

"SCSI C:" OR SCSI D"... Just SCSI BOOT DEVICE
