I am stuck between 3 different cards. The prices are close and am curious as to which will get me the most bang for the buck and will last for the next 3 years. I have had my 4890 for long enough and am starting to see it fall behind.

I intend to stick around 1080p resolutions on my pc. Here is the list of the ones I am thinking of:

About a year ago I got this PSU to drive my machine and am so far pretty happy with it:

If you plan on overclocking, then the 79xx cards might be better b-4-b.

Otherwise, the 670 FTW is prolly better b-4-b for the next 2 years, until more games use more than 2GB.

OP with the 12.11b drivers a HD 7950 (1.2 Ghz) is faster than GTX 680(1.3 Ghz). users on ocn have switched from GTX 680 to HD 7950. For the best value for your money get the Gigabye HD 7950 OC or Sapphire HD 7950 Boost. clock for clock HD 7950 is 3 - 5% slower than HD 7970.

the sapphire card has very positive reviews. costs 28 bucks lesser including shippping. The Gigabyte card does not VRM heatsinks while sapphire card does. the gigabyte WF3 cooler is better than sapphire dual x . also the gigabyte card has 3 yr warranty while sapphire has 2 yr. pick the one you like.
