Given that AMD 939 X2 prices should be falling in the next couple of days, I thought I would build an AMD 939 X2 4200+ gaming rig. I am looking for a decent mobo for this proc that is:

  • Under $100
  • Has decent Overclocking BIOS features
  • Uses one of the nVidia chipsets
  • Supports SATA II 3GB/s drives

I am currently looking at the ABIT AN8 SLI. Is this good given my reqs? Any other mobo suggestions? I think DFI may be too much for me (in determining the right PSU, memory etc.) Not so sure about MSI or ASUS.

Thanks in advance...

Also, let me also ask what memory should I buy, DDR400 PC3200? Or, should I go higher like DDR500 or DDR600 for overclocking purposes?
