its too expensive for my buget otherwise i would get a 800xl but i cant aford it right now

I have been very happy with my Leadtek 6600 GT. I don't know much about much ... but before I bought mine many reviews said it was the quietest and coolest as well, that's why I chose it.

Actually, you can get the regular Leadtek 6600 GT, which is cheaper than the Extreme version, and OC it, if you so choose.

Otherwise, if you're after the cheapest, but still relatively good GeForce 6600 GT, Palit sells one of the cheapest 6600 GTs.

I just found this link from Newegg, seems like the Leadtek 6600 GT's cheaper than the Evga 6600 GT, both before and after rebates:

Geforce 6600GT -- 35 results.

it would be good for some one with a agp board. i need i pci-e. but i did try and find that too

The passively cooled Gigabyte 6600 GT's fantastic if you're after a quiet system, but its default operating temperature is quite a bit higher than most other 6600 GT with fan cooling,

but then, the 6600 GT GPU only cuts off at 145 C.

Yes, I've used several Leadtek graphics cards, including the 6600 GT, and they never let me down: they runs cool and is OClockable.

BTW, the price of the regular Leadtek 6600 GT's on par with the eVGA cards.
