Choosing 4850 over 4830, 4670, pricing

Hello - I was planning to buy a radeon 4850 card, which is $170 after a $30 rebate, but then I was wondering what do you guys think the price point will be within a few months, during Christmas time or after Christmas time? I know the Palit card is selling at $140 with rebates right now, but I like the big cooler on the MSI R4850, so it won't be crazy loud. The main purpose of getting the card is gaming (not hardcore, though, so reasonable resolutions), but it won't be necessary so I could get a 4670 in the meantime for $80, because I will be building a second system in several months (a small system for HTPC) and I could put this card into it and replace what I am using now with the 4850. Or a 4830 at $120 might be better, too, if the 4850 cards can drop to below $150 in a few months? What do you guys think?

Thanks,
- Eli

This seems like a decision entirely up to you. But if I was to make such a decision, I would probably just pick up an HD4670 now and pick up a more powerful card later (which should hopefully be about the same price as a current HD4850), knowing that I will put the HD4670 to good use in an HTPC.
