Choice of Athlon XPs

Hi, I'm just wondering if I could get a little information. I have the choice between an Athlon XP 1700+ and an XP 1900+, both with an FIC AD11 mobo. I'm just wondering if there is such a big difference between the two. The 1700+ combo is $129 and the 1900+ combo is $159. So is the extra 130Mhz worth $30? I'm a sophomore in high school so I can't just go throwing around money, but the extra processor speed does look rather nice. Where is the difference in performance between the two? Thanks! Oh, btw, this will be a gaming/programming/3d modelling machine. It will also probably be overclocked in the future.
