Choice between 2 desktops

I need to buy a new desktop for my wife.
She uses it mostly for websurfing and wordprocessing.
Buy.com has the Compaq Presario 7470 and the eMachines Emonster 500A refurbished machines on Clearence for the same (low) price. Which do you recommend?

PS My daughter has had an eMachine for over a year - never had any problems (although I know some people say they are junk).

In this case, I would go with the compaq. A refurbished e-machine has got to be a warning.
 
Adul is right, but that's damn funny.

Check the vid card on the Compaq. eMachines have garbage cards in them, and your wife is going to be staring at the screen typing, it would be good to have a fairly decent one in there.
