chocolate milk - good alternative to regular milk?

I'm not a huge fan of drinking plain milk, especially whole milk. Even with cookies or whatever, I don't prefer to drink it. I like chocolate milk much better. It has the same nutritional benefits of regular milk plus the fat content.

Any downside?

How does it have more fat, again?

Chocolate adds fat content...

Oh, never even thought of that. Guess it makes sense, but looking at the nutriton information it adds a very small amount in the serving you'd use in a glass of chocolate milk.

but, they make low-fat chocolate milk...
Still, though, more sugar.

I think that has to do with what milk they use as a base. You can make chocolate milk with skim milk for instance, or 1%, 2% or whole.

Sounds good. Could try flavoured Soya milk as well. Not sure what the sugar and fat content of Soya Milk is though.
