chkdsk on ntfs partitions

Are the small inconsistencies that chkdsk always finds in my ntfs partition normal?...even after the chkdsk /f?

If you're running chkdsk from inside NT, then yes. The filesystem data in memory may not be consistent with what's on disk because of filesystem caching to help performance.
