Chit chat - do you enjoy?

I see a lot of people really enjoy chit chatting. By chit chatting, I mean saying things like "hey, how do you do, fine thank, good, good weeked, nice to meet you, you are nice, etc, how are the relatives? how is this? did you wake up early? are you tired? etc ... you know the rest ...

It seems like many people don't really care about this sort of stuff but say it nonetheless. Or maybe they do care, I don't know. Are you a fan of chit chat?

About stuff I'm interested in yes (school, sports, etc) about other stuff not so much...it also strongly depends who your talking with...

I can't stand it. There's been times when I'll be awake but pretend to sleep for up to an hour until they leave the room, just so I don't have to hear "Good morning! How did you sleep?" :|

I don't engage in a conversation. Though, I do say. "Hello" and "How ya doin'?" or "What's up?" People usually give one word answers and I'm satisfied with that. Just trying to be friendly to whomever.

I go out of my way to avoid most people for the sole purpose of dodging the dreaded chit-chat.

I cannot stand chit-chat.

Hate it. The people who enjoy it are the ones who don't mind repeating themselves over and over to everyone they meet, who are in turn repeating themselves over and over...

I think we all enjoy Chit Chat... which is why we spend hours on ATOT saying basically nothing to each other about nothing.

🙂
I think I like you already.

Or stuff like "good morning" on any day when I'm awake much before 10am. If I'm up that early, it's for work or class, which seriously diminishes the amount of "good" present in the morning.
Too much of that sort of thing reminds me of Office Space, and such frivolity as "Sounds like a case of the Mondays."
