Some of my favorites are the classics. Not classic Frosty the Snowman, but ones like O come, O come, Emmanuel, Do you Hear What I Hear, God Rest Ye Merrie Gentlemen, I Saw Three Ships, etc, etc.

Songs like Rockin Around the Christmas Tree, and Rudolph can get old quickly.

Christmastime by the Smashing Pumpkins is pretty good. I also like Mistress For Christmas by AC/DC. Oh, and you should check out Trans-Siberian Orchestra. They have three full albums of Christmas music and they're pretty good.

I really, really don't like the traditional Christmas songs though. In the grocery store yesterday I heard two different versions of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" right in a row. Both equally insipid, with those lame off-beats as the only attempt by the singers to "change it up." You know... "You bet-ter watch-out (rest) (rest) betternot cry (rest)" and so on. Then of course they were playing "Holly Jolly Christmas" (you know, "it's the best time of the year!") as I was waiting in one of the three checkout lanes that was open at 8 PM. So freaking depressing. I don't know why Americans subject themselves to such pain and torture for an entire month or more every single year.
 
Favorite all-time is the Muppets version of the 12 days of Christmas.

As for current stuff, I like that one about the Christmas Shoes and the Hippopotamus one.
