It was evident considering the results of pre-election polls, I believe, shouldn't be a big surprise (if any at all) to anyone, IMO. Of course, there's always a slight chance that the polls would be wrong.

I cant believe I'm saying that it's great that Chirac won, but it is. However, Le Pen won a primary. That's pretty sad. He also got 18.6% of the vote. Sad.

Although I dont agree with any of Chirac's policies, I wouldnt call him evil. I just dont like the man. Le Pen is unquestionably evil.

I watched Chirac on C-Span a couple of days ago and he makes Al Gore look charismatic. Glad the crook beat the facist though.

It's amazing that French make fun of Americans when they have these two turds running for the highest office.
