Hi all. I know that there were uissues with the chipset heating up when the board was reviewed on AT. I am in the process of OCing my 3200+ NC. My chipset is now set at 1.8V. Prime is running stable for the past few hrs and temps when running prime are:

CPU: 42
PWMIC: 40
System: 36.

I was wondering if anybody with the same board had any suggestions on whether it is safe to keep it at this voltage.......Thanx

3200+, so i'm asuming nforce ultra lanparty? i had one of those, it didn't need any extra voltage in the NB to pull 500mhz FSB.

I have mine set at stock until I can get better cooling for the northbridge. It runs at 58C under load so I'm not pushing it.

One question have you got a higher OC by raising the chipset voltage.

With 1.7 I could not take the FSB >250m but by raising it to 1.8 I could take it upto 265 and prime ran thru the night without a problem.

A couple days ago I had the sempron 3100+
@ 2430mhz (270x9, 3.0LDT)

I used stock 1.6v vchip. Even my vcore was pretty low too at 1.55v

I think raising the voltage to a healthy level is ok if you got the cooling. But if you have time to test you don't have to be sloppy and just jump it over what it needs. Apparently 1.6-1.7 was fine for me, but then again it is a sempron and my LDT was lower.
