For processors AMD Duron/Athlon which the best chipset is for those processors with support for memory DDR (did AMD or Via)?
Please also indicate good mobos.

The best DDR chipsets for Duron/T-bird are currently those based on the AMD761 northbridge. There is supposed to be a new revision of the VIA KK266 coming out soon that is supposed to have better performance (I haven't seen any reviews yet on the major independent review sites) and also new offerings from SiS and NVIDIA s/b out by the end of the year promising even better performnce.

AMD 761 Northbridge. Best 2 boards on it are MSI K7 Master for the non-ocer and Epox 8K7A+ for the overclocker.
