nvmonitor says 'system' is 125f and up...

i'm running 1.5 v to the chipset... seems kind of hot, but nvmonitor isn't flashing that it's overtemp... and the chipset cooler sure isn't that hot... time to yank the thing off and re-paste it? sheesh... i just had the mobo out to put a ninja on... wish i'd have noticed this before!!!
 
i put as5 on my chipset and it really hasnt had any effect on the temp, still sits at 40c at pritty much all times
 
what a pain in the butt... pulled the mobo out, and found out that the stock thermal pad had separated from the chip... basically no contact... it was all hard and like cardboard, so it was never going to reconnect...

put some ceramique on it and it's a bit cooler... hopefully it will settle in and go down a bit more...
