Chipset in wireless product

I have a list of 30 products that I need to find the work chipset for.

These are wireless products such as APs, projectors, media players, etc. I need to glean the info before Ibuy it so opening up the product is out of questions.

Some products are easy to research online but is there a one-stop source for such information?

Thanks.

Some things shouldn't matter, such as Projectors, AP's, etc. Also, what chipset? radio chipset, device chipset?

Ok,

Did not understand - "Some things shouldn't matter, such as Projectors, AP's, etc."

I am looking for the radio chipset - should have specified that earlier.

Welcome to AT Network Forum.

Unfortunately, there is No central source.

Since WIFI is, suppose to be compatible across the board it is Not considered as an important issue. In case of special chipset Modes, most Brand solve the chipset compatibility issues by telling you to buy their devices only.

Looking at the manufacturer data might or might not provide this information, and some time the same model can be found with different Chipsets as well.
