One of my PCs has a Gigabyte GA-E7AUM-DS2H mATX motherboard with a GeForce 9400 chipset (has the 9400 onboard video).
It's in a SilverStone SG03. I do have both 120mm fans on the front running full speed + a blowhole 120mm fan at the top of the case running at full speed as well.
The onboard video / chipset regularly idles at around 106C. When using the onboard video, it gets up to 125C.
I had read that the GeForce 9400 / GeForce 9300 chipsets w/ integrated GPU get hot, but this seems ridiculous.
It's a mATX board and I'm using an EnzoTech Extreme heatsink on the CPU. This heatsink partially hangs over the chipset heatsink so I can't replace the chipset heatsink with something like the Thermalright HR-05. This is also the reason I can't put a large fan over the chipset to cool it.
Anyone have any recommendations on a replacement heatsink for this chipset?
