Chipset Comparison?

Getting ready to design my new Christmas CPU and I'm sort of new to the custom built scene.

Trying to decide on what Chipset and accordingly what Mobo I should get.

I found a comparison of Intel's chipset, but I need some comparisons for the other brands such as via and whatever else is considered good.

Thinking of geting a SuperMicro Serverworks mobo or the SUPER P4SBA+

Would prefer a SMP Mobo.
